			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify">Winners of the 34th annual Laurence Olivier Awards, London&#8217;s equivalent of the Tonys and the UK&#8217;s most prestigious stage awards, are announced this Sunday evening, March 21, 2010. From 5pm on the night, Whatsonstage.com will be reporting and tweeting live from the event, with details of winners across all 26 categories. This year’s star-studded Oliviers ceremony is hosted by Anthony Head at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, with nominees, guest presenters and other VIPs confirmed to attend including: Gillian Anderson, Rowan Atkinson, Imelda Staunton, <strong>Rachel Weisz</strong>, Jude Law, Kim Cattrall, Rosamund Pike, James Earl Jones, Larry Lamb and Barbara Windsor. The evening’s entertainment will comprise performances from many of this year’s nominees and nominated productions, including <em>Priscilla Queen of the Desert</em>, <em>Sister Act</em> (Patina Miller), Spice Girl turned <em>Blood Brothers</em> star Melanie C, and, marking its 25th anniversary, casts of two <em>Les Miserables</em> companies performing together for the first time.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jude Law, Dame Helen Mirren, Rachel Weisz and Patrick Stewart are among the stars competing at the upcoming Whatsonstage.com Awards, which honour the best in London theatre. Law received a nomination in the Best Actor category for his role in the West End run of <em>Hamlet</em>, which recently transferred to Broadway. He will go up against former <em>The Wire</em> star Dominic West, who has been recognised for his part in philosophical epic <em>Life Is a Dream</em>. Mirren will compete against Weisz for the Best Actress trophy for her starring role in <em>Phedre</em>, while the <em>Mummy</em> star received a nod for her turn in <em>A Streetcar Named Desire</em>. Stewart&#8217;s role in <em>Hamlet</em> earned him a nomination for the Best Supporting Actor prize, while he also received a nod in the Theatre Event of the Year category alongside Sir Ian MCKellen for their pairing in <em>Waiting for Godot</em>. Former Spice Girls star Melanie Chisholm has also received a nod for the Best Takeover in a Role for her West End debut in musical <em>Blood Brothers</em>. The awards will be handed out at a ceremony in London on February 14, 2010.</p>
